Our local animal hospital took all of the saline flushes, the heparin, all the bandages, and even the tubing for TPN!! So glad that it will go to use and not get thrown away . . . plus, my husband was a major animal lover, so it worked out . . . I still have lot's of ostomy supplies if anyone is int...

Hi everyone . . . as many of you know, my beautiful husband passed away on 9/10 (two days before his 51st birthday). Thank you!! I spoke with his surgeon and the bypass went really well . . . it turns out the blockage in not inside the colon . . . the colon in that area looks good, but that damn lymph node is getting bigger and pushing against everything (ureter, junction b/w small and large intestine) . . . time ...

My husband has been on panitumumab (or vectibix) twice and he’s had good responses, but the skin rash is really harsh...ask his oncologist to front load the meds that help with the skin....I can’t remember the name of the meds, but it’s good to start them before first treatment.... My beautiful husband is in surgery right now having another bypass (4th surgery in just over 3 years)....please pray for him and for all of us...

So it's been only 23 days since my husband was released from the hospital and he's back in with another blockage :( The doctors have given him a few choices at this point: 1. another bypass (chemo delayed for at least a month) 2. a release valve that will allow him to drain in the event of a blockag...
