ALL CLEAR

Hello CC group. Been sometime since I've been about. I've been so busy building a house - it's almost done. I just wanted to chime in and say hello and give some good stats for those in the midst of the battle. I can hardly believe it, but 3/29 will be 6 years from my initial diagnosis. My 5 year sc...

Re: Numb and numberer

L-Glutamine

It seems to work well for me. I'm 2.5 years out from chemo and if I take my daily Glutamine pill experience zero neuropathy.

I've been out of it for several weeks and have noticed a slight return in the fingers and feet. So I'll be picking up more.

Re: Rectal cancer (Stage 3A) diagnosed late June 2017

Mike glad to see your posts! Sorry you haven’t been able to work out as much as you had been. I have been staying active but a long stretch of 90’s and humid here in MN has meant more swimming in the lake than running and lifting. It is interesting that you mention a possible relationship between w...

Re: 3 year scan. Wish me luck!

Thanks All! I have to admit, I'm really anxious. Why? Cause I have not seen my results on my online charts yet. In the past I've always gotten scan results the same night or at most a day later. Here we are 6 days post scan and I've not heard a peep. Nothing on my online chart, no phone call, nada. ...

3 year scan. Wish me luck!

Hello CTALK folks. Been a while since I've been active, but I just got back from my 3 year CT scan. Well Surgery was 4/16/17 and last chemo was 10/26/17 - So I'm presuming this is 3 years. I haven't had much anxiety, but you know now waiting for results its creeping in a bit. I've got so many plans ...

Re: Eating plan: Keto OR Vegan OR Well-Balanced??

Hi Kelsi, congratulations on your Chemo Completion. Myself I started a Ketogenic diet about 2 months after treatment ended. It was very difficult to begin, the keto flu seemed more difficult to me post treatment. Energy, etc were not quite back to snuff. After a couple weeks things faired much bette...

Re: Lung Cryoablation

Yep, did a small resection on the liver and that went great. Probably one of the easiest surgeries I’ve had. Then on the follow up for that surgery they found a spot in my lungs had grown to 4mm. Still too tiny to do anything about so we waited 3 months and scanned again. This time it had grown to ...

Re: Lung Cryoablation

Hi Tdubz. Good to see you!

I can't provide any lung cryo info - sorry.
So I take it you got the liver situation sussed out? Last I recall you had what appeared to be recurrence near the gallbladder?

I hope everything goes well for you.
