How to quote?

It's probably just me being blind, but I can't find info anywhere on how to quote another user's post.
Looked through the faq and did a search on "quote", didn't help :(
Hoping someone can help :)

Re: Caregiver with up's and down's

dear ostacy, I'm a caregiver as well and I can certainly recognize the emotional stress you're describing. I'm glad you came here to vent, many of us understand what you're going through. My mom had had symptoms for 2-3 yrs which she completely ignored and never told anyone about and it took a clima...

What to expect from irinotecan and bevacizumab?

My mom's feeling better after a week of radiation and actually gained about 5 kgs, which is fantastic :D so the onc offered she could start irinotecan and bevacizumab if she had the guts. She did. A recent CT scan shows that the liver mets have grown about 1cm in three months time (from 1cm to 2cm)....

Two t's - aha!

It took me a looong time to understand why so many of you were writing but with two t's when it's supposed to be only one t, butt now all of a sudden I understood - and I just can't stop laughing. English is a foreign language for me, butt that's not the case for many of you. So I kept thinking &quo...

Re: When CAPOX/XELOX fails ?

Thanks for the support Lee and Katie. My mom just turned 68. She's never been physically active and seems older than she is, but she's never been sick and never took any kind of meds. She's always been short and very, very slim. I will definitely call the hospital and set up an appt with her doctor,...

Re: Low blood pressure due to CAPOX ?

Thanks for your reply Lee! I don't think she got any Avastin, I could check with her doctor. I will definitely also book a meeting with her doctor to discuss the treatment plan. It's different here, though, we see different doctors every time, it's not just one onc who's in charge of my mom's treatm...

When CAPOX/XELOX fails ?

Hi everyone, so many people here with lots of experience, knowledge and opinions, so I thought I'd ask you a question. My mom is in a bad shape, very weak and frail. She just barely started CAPOX, when it was stopped after 6 days as she was getting heart problems and hypotension. She has never had p...

Re: Low blood pressure due to CAPOX ?

Onc is saying she cannot continue with CAPOX, the treatment has been stopped. Now they want to switch to radiation but she has a rectal and a sigmoid tumor plus liver mets and maybe even lung mets. From what I understand, only the rectal tumor will be treated with radiation, but I don't know what th...

Low blood pressure due to CAPOX ?

My mom has finally started her first round of CAPOX (Wed May 3rd). She's been feeling dizzy on and off the past couple of months, but yesterday she fainted, probably due to very low blood pressure, so now they've stopped the treatment. I'm worried about this as chemo is the only treatment she's gett...

Re: New supporter here- Mom with Stage IV

I'd like to get some kind of cannabis oil/medical marijuana, but unfortunatly it's illegal where I live. Worth looking into possibilities though. Thanks for the advice.

Re: New supporter here- Mom with Stage IV

Katie, it hleps me so much to read your posts as we are in similar situations. I'm glad your mom was able to start chemo so soon after the diagnosis, I hope she starts to feel better soon!
