Re: How to get a doctor to chastise another doctor

I was posting the story about the hepatitis problem as evidence of southern Nevada's (perhaps everywhere) behavior of doctors being loathe to chastise doctors. Kiind of like police not ticketing off-duty police for traffic infractions (or worse), or trying to find a lawyer to sue a lawyer. My proble...

How to get a doctor to chastise another doctor

I am having an issue with an oncologist who is violating state law. Because doctors... the enforcement committee is the state medical board, which consists of doctors who are loathe to indict one of their own. Does anyone have any thoughts ore links to web sites and/or resources? I live in Nevada. I...

Re: What supplements do you take????

Since curcumin has been shown to be 3x more effective than chemo, we will be tripling his dosage. Maybe I'm a natural skeptic, but I'm a little suspicious of this claim. Do not have a link to a clinical trial where this was studied? peanut maybe the curcumin is 3x more effective than chemo for redu...

Re: Alarming symptoms (constipation, long term pencil stool)

OP, if you haven't already, get a copy of the colonoscopy report, the radiologist's report from the CAT scant, and a CD of the cat scan images. Keep these in a folder at home; it is a very good idea to have a personal copy of all your medical records/history, especially if you end up moving cities/c...

Re: Lonsurf

I think Lonsurf is reacting with other drugs causing trouble, nausea is the most likely side effect. Thanks for the blood count info If one reads the lonsurf 'drug facts' sheet, the manufacturer advises a blood test immediately after the second two-week 'on' cycle. (Day 15) Not sure who reads those...

Re: Lonsurf

Jim ..If you could post on your wife`s scan ??? Hoping is a good report for her Scan came back... more involvement everywhere (lung, liver, lymph nodes) although the biggest tumors (liver/lung) are necrotic in the center. I guess that's indicative that the lonsurf is kind of working, and the debiri...

Re: Lonsurf

My wife has been on lonsurf for four months. Initially she didn't have any side effects. Right after she started the lonsurf, she also had DEBIRI TACE. First lobe went OK... second lobe was very painful and she's been weak with an intermittent low-grade fever (ibuprofen brings it down). Side effects...

Re: Curcumin: What Brand and Where Do You Purchase

My wife used to go to Dr Brian Lawenda when he was in Las Vegas. He has an integrative oncology web site. He told us the pepper/'boperine' increases bioavailability by inflammation of the gut that allows the curcumin (and anything else) pass from the gut to the blood supply. At the time he was recom...

Re: Inflamation, PD-L1 and potential benefits of Curcumin.

Really interesting! Curcumin is being part of many scientific studies now as I heard. What about using black pepper to boost its power? I read this in an anticancer book. :) One of my wife's oncologists told her the way that black pepper increases bio-availability by causing inflammation in the gut...

This might be a trial to add to the spreadsheet:

CAR-T Hepatic Artery Infusions for CEA-Expressing Liver Metastases

Only for those with liver mets, though.
