I asked oncologist and liver surgeon about that. They both said that my first few rounds of chemo had shrunk the solitary tumor in the liver so much that it was a shadow and they wanted to get in there quickly. Liver resection surgery and aftermath

Had liver resection surgery for solitary tumor that was originally 4x2 but had shrunk to shadow. Post op report showed total removal of tumor and surrounds and clean liver.
