My own SitRep would be : May 2007 - colonoscopy / biopsy confirms rectosigmoid adenocarcinoma, CT, MRI, many blood tests follow June 2007 - 6 weeks neo-adjuvant chemoradiation with Xeloda ( 3600 mg/day ), blood tests, CTs August 2007 - TME via LAR of primary tumour, originally Stage IIIC, temp ileos...

The thing with drinking alkalized water is that it goes into your stomach with an acidic ph of about 2. It would be hard for any alkalinity to survive that and make it into the bloodstream. It doesn't. We've had this topic many times here and basically your blood pH is a very closely self regulated...

Welcome to the forum and first let me say that you might want to run some of this by your GI doctor or GP. My sitrep was a bit different. Had a successful LAR ( very low re-attachment with a temp ileo to divert "contents" ) BUTT still had a pelvic abscess 7-10 days post-op. Did a siggy with contrast and there was no "leak" per se Doctors were "surprised" so I was put on RAMB...
