Preliminary staging before treatment to come up with a game plan. I know after chemo radiation and surgery I was downgraded to stage 2 from 3C. My mileage was average 3 days on a bag.
Adapt 7731 no sting medical adhesive remover by Hollister is some pretty good stuff.
I also used the Cavilon Liquid Skin Protectant by 3M.
Luckily in the seven months I had the bag I had none or very minor skin problems.
If it itches change it

All my nails re-grew. my fingers I think it took about six months and my toe mails were about 9 months.
kind of nice having nice new shiny nails except I smashed a finger last week and got one of those nice blood blisters under the nail now. :oops: kind of like the first scratch on a new car.

Glad Mom is doing good. Try not to leave the hospital without a good supply of ostomy supplies. I would say at least 10 complete changes. Hollister makes a spray adhesive remover.this stuff works great and is worth more than gold when removing a wafer. P.S. No four wheeling or jumping curbs on the w...

Oh so sorry Bev.
It always hard to loose a family member. I think dogs have a special healing power. I'm not sure how I would of made it threw treatments without my pup.
When the pain lessons you should consider fostering a pup in need.

I have a scan coming up Monday. Needless to say anxiety is starting.
Susie Good luck Monday, scananxiety sucks. You would think it gets easier the more you do it butt somehow it don't. Knock on wood I'm good until December.
