May I ask, does your love ones that is on Avastin have peritoneal carcinomatosis? And told they will be on chemo for life?

Did you have it on your peritoneum? Peritoneum carcinomatosis?

Thank you! My Mom is my best friend. We threw a huge event at a hotel with lots of family, friends and events. It was a fun filled time. We don't let cancer define us and we are living. Results indicated that there was no activity in the areas that we have known from the beginning was loaded with cancer. So results were good! Thank you everyone! We get my Mom's PET scan results tomorrow morning, hoping it will show was the CT scan showed in January after 4 treatments, shrinkage. She has had 8 treatments since January so we will see exactly what modified FOLFOX 6 did for her! Positive vibes and prayers please!

As of now, her primary source for signet ring cell was her rectum with mets to her ovary, bladder, and peritoneum, she basically has what they call "seeding" all of her peritoneum and she currently is not a candidate for HIPEC or surgery. She just completed 12 rounds of modified FOLFOX 6 a...
