Re: Three Year CT Scan Results

Cheers to the ‘unremarkable’ and ‘unchanged’ on the report. Agree that you are most remarkable.

Susie, thinking of you and praying that your scan will be clear.

The Wait

Hello everyone, I first joined the colon club family in Spring of 2016 and although I do not post often, I do visit nearly every day, several times a day, to read the information and advice you all share. Thank you for sharing and for putting into words so many thoughts and feelings that I struggle ...

Re: Little delay in treatment = disappointed

Just as I was about to leave the house for chemo this morning, the nurse called to inform me my meds haven't been delivered so chemo #8 is once again delayed until next week. I'm so upset. It takes a lot of coordinating to prep (mentally and physically) for chemo week and all these delays are too mu...

Re: Little delay in treatment = disappointed

They give me anti-nausea meds before infusion. And I have Zofran at home for nausea. I also take Xanax for anxiety and that sometimes helps with nausea as well. With all that though, I still have this lingering nausea that doesn't quite go away. Before all of this, I wasn't much of a Rx seeker eithe...

Re: Silly vanity . . . I know I shouldn't complain, but I will anyway

I feel ya on this one. I used to have thick hair that has now thinned out tremendously. Weird thing is I don't mind the thinning but the sweeping the floor multiple times a day, clogging the bathtub drain, constantly picking hair off the pillow and my clothes bother me so very much. And what's up wi...

Re: Another question (sorry to be so high-maintenance this week!)

Thanks for bringing this up. I noticed dryness and blood too after a few cycles and thought it was just me. I was so preoccupied with other side effects, I didn't bring it up during follow ups. Then I got so fed up with all the changes to my body, I just let it go.

Re: Digestion Problem

Hi fellow Nguyen-ner, I hope your mom’s oncologist can help with her digestion problems. I’ve had GI problems for quite a while and it was made worse by chemo - worse as in I couldn’t even drink liquids without experiencing terrible indigestion, bloating, belching, etc. It took a few different presc...

Little delay in treatment = disappointed

Hi everyone, I’ve completed 7 of 12 treatments of Folfox. Ended up in the ER on Aug 22 for fever, low WBC, dehydration, and bunch of other stuff. They kept me in the hospital for a few days. The gastroenterologist ordered a barium enema test (results good, no stricture, no obstruction, no tumors) an...
